Eligibility And Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use Mero.

You must provide truthful age information when requested. We may restrict or terminate access if we reasonably believe that an account belongs to a person under 18 or that age information is false.

What Mero Provides

Mero is an AI-powered entertainment and creative service. Depending on the features available, it may let you:

• Chat with AI-generated companion characters.
• Create, edit, publish, save, favorite, or interact with characters and personas.
• Generate or edit profiles, text, images, and other content.
• Purchase subscriptions or digital credits for eligible features.
• Report, block, or otherwise manage content and interactions.

Features, models, limits, prices, and availability may change over time.

AI Companion Notice

Mero's characters and messages are generated by artificial intelligence. They are not human, conscious, licensed professionals, or emergency services. Their statements, memories, emotions, and relationships are simulated.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, inconsistent, incomplete, unexpected, or inappropriate. Do not rely on Mero for medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other professional advice.

If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional. Do not rely on Mero to detect or respond to an emergency.

Accounts And Security

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information.
• Maintaining the security of your device, sign-in methods, and account.
• Activity performed through your account.
• Promptly notifying us at hello@titox.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not sell, transfer, share, or provide access to your account in a way that compromises security or circumvents these Terms.

User Content

"User Content" includes prompts, messages, personas, character profiles, names, descriptions, images, audio, files, reports, feedback, and other material you submit, create, upload, publish, or share through Mero.

You retain any rights you have in your User Content. You grant Titox a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, transmit, display, and moderate User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve Mero and provide features you request.

When you publish a character or other content publicly, you also permit us to make that content available to other Mero users for the public features you selected, including discovery, viewing, chatting, favoriting, saving, reporting, and moderation.

You represent that:

• You own your User Content or have all permissions needed to use it.
• Your User Content and use of Mero do not violate law, these Terms, or another person's rights.
• You have permission from identifiable people whose image, voice, likeness, or personal information you upload.

Do not submit confidential, highly sensitive, or regulated information unless you are comfortable with it being processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

AI Outputs

Rights in AI-generated material may vary by jurisdiction and may be affected by third-party provider terms. AI outputs may not be unique, and other users may receive similar outputs.

To the extent permitted by law, Titox does not claim ownership of an output generated specifically for you. We do not guarantee that an output is copyrightable, non-infringing, accurate, safe, or suitable for commercial use. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using, publishing, or relying on them.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Mero to create, request, upload, publish, distribute, or facilitate:

• Sexual or exploitative content involving minors, age-ambiguous persons, or persons presented as minors.
• Child sexual abuse material or any attempt to sexualize, groom, or endanger a minor.
• Non-consensual intimate content, sexual violence, trafficking, exploitation, or instructions that facilitate abuse.
• Nude or explicit sexual image generation.
• Credible threats, targeted harassment, stalking, doxxing, hateful conduct, or incitement of violence.
• Instructions that meaningfully facilitate suicide, self-harm, violent wrongdoing, weapons, fraud, malware, or other illegal activity.
• Impersonation, deception, infringement, privacy violations, or use of another person's likeness without permission.
• Spam, automated abuse, scraping, unauthorized data collection, or attempts to manipulate rankings, reports, rewards, or engagement.

You also may not:

• Bypass age gates, content controls, rate limits, billing, entitlements, App Check, authentication, moderation, or security measures.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Probe, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the App, accounts, systems, providers, or data.
• Use Mero in a way that violates applicable law or third-party terms.

Public Content, Reports, And Enforcement

Public characters and other public User Content may be reviewed, reported, restricted, removed, or made private. We may use automated systems and human review to enforce these Terms and protect users.

We may warn users, reject prompts, remove content, limit visibility, reverse invalid rewards or credits, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when we reasonably believe there is abuse, fraud, risk, or a violation of these Terms, law, app-store rules, or provider policies.

You can use available in-app controls to report or block content. Submitting knowingly false, abusive, or repetitive reports is prohibited.

Subscriptions

Mero may offer an auto-renewing subscription, such as Companion Plus. The App and applicable app store display the current price, billing period, trial or promotional terms, included benefits, and renewal terms before purchase.

Unless canceled, an auto-renewing subscription renews and your app-store account is charged according to the offer shown at purchase. You can manage or cancel through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the store or applicable law provides otherwise.

Deleting Mero or deleting your Mero account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription. You must manage cancellation through the store that processed the purchase.

Subscription benefits may change for future billing periods. Material price changes are handled with the notice and consent required by the applicable store and law.

Berries, Gems, And Other Digital Credits

Mero may offer Berries, Gems, or other in-app digital credits. Digital credits:

• Are licensed for use only within Mero.
• Have no cash value outside Mero.
• Are not currency, deposits, gift cards, cryptocurrency, securities, or property.
• Cannot be transferred, sold, traded, or redeemed for cash except where required by law.

The number of credits required for a feature is shown in the App and may change for future transactions. We may correct balances affected by duplicate grants, chargebacks, refunds, fraud, technical errors, or reversed transactions.

When an eligible paid AI operation fails before delivery, Mero may automatically avoid charging or restore the applicable credits. Output preference or dissatisfaction alone does not guarantee a credit refund unless required by law or the applicable store.

Purchases, Trials, Refunds, And Taxes

Apple App Store or Google Play processes purchases, subscriptions, payment methods, receipts, taxes, cancellations, and most refunds. Their terms and refund rules apply.

Any free trial or promotional offer is subject to the eligibility, duration, conversion price, and renewal terms shown before purchase. Unless canceled before the trial ends, a trial may convert to a paid subscription as disclosed by the store.

Contact the applicable store for billing disputes or refund requests. You may also contact hello@titox.io for help locating purchase-management or restore options.

Third-Party Services

Mero relies on third-party services, which may include AI model providers, Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Cloudflare, analytics, crash reporting, storage, hosting, notifications, security, and support providers.

Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and policies. Titox does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their independent acts, content, availability, or policies.

Privacy And AI Data Processing

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared.

AI features require processing by Titox systems and third-party AI providers. The App asks for permission before sharing prompts and relevant content with third-party AI services. If you withdraw that permission, AI features may become unavailable until you allow processing again.

Account Deletion

You may request deletion using available in-app controls or the instructions on our Delete Account page.

Deletion may be irreversible. Some records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax, legal, backup, or app-store obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Account deletion does not cancel an app-store subscription.

App License And Intellectual Property

Subject to these Terms and applicable app-store rules, Titox grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use Mero on devices you own or control.

Mero's software, branding, interface, designs, and materials provided by Titox are owned by Titox or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you.

If you obtained Mero through Apple, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the App license and these Terms supplement it for Mero's services, content, accounts, and purchases.

Availability And Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of Mero. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perpetual availability of a character or model, compatibility with every device, or error-free AI output.

Service interruptions may occur because of maintenance, security events, provider outages, app-store actions, network failures, legal requirements, or circumstances beyond our control.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mero is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, security, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Titox and its licensors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, User Content, AI outputs, digital credits, or access.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Titox's total liability for claims arising from Mero or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for Mero in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 10 if you paid nothing.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Titox and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your User Content, your misuse of Mero, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

Termination

You may stop using Mero at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, abuse Mero, fail to pay required charges, or if termination is required by law, an app store, or a service provider.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including User Content licenses already needed for legal or operational purposes, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law.

App-Store Terms

If you downloaded Mero through Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store terms also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for Mero's content, support, or services except to the extent their terms or applicable law require.

You must comply with applicable third-party terms, including your wireless-data agreement, when using Mero.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law or app-store terms require otherwise.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice when required by law.

Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them where permitted by law. If you do not agree to an update, stop using Mero.
